Wow. What a great, great, great, great question. That one question right there really has exposed the politicing that exsists in the ABC governing bodies. Great thinking.
Because belt organizations are corrupt bodies where the fighters' promoters often control who gets the shot at the belts and who doesn't.... and since the Klits aren't interested in fighting each other the promoters don't bother to put in the good word to the organizations thus they never become each other's mandatories.
None of the major alphabet organisations rank the champions of any of the others, so they can't become mandatories. Why, I don't know, but that's what they do.
it's pointless. lets say some ABC organization say "Wlad is champ, and Vitaly is a mandatory, so you have to fight." then Vitaly says - I don't need this belt, so pass my mandatory status to someone else. and that's it. Noone can strip an ABC belt from Wlad because he didn't refuse to fight the mandatory - mandatory refused. then comes next in the line - and Wlad fights. game over.
good guestion too )) I also didn't think till now about why they don't fight each other from this point of view. so I've just tried to figure it out myself
They've both said they wouldn't fight each other cuz they're brothers. Then get the **** out of boxing if that's the case, you big ass puzzies and go hug each other at home.
i'm not harsh like that, but everybody has there price...if somebody would throw some serious cash out there, make the fight happen.
Fantastic question. We all know they'd never fight so maybe the alphabet organisations know that if they force the fight via mandatory they would lose the belt holding Klitschko and the mammoth sanctioning fees with it. The brothers are big business. You never know what is going on behind the scenes in boxing.
