Chavez resume is just like Floyds. If Floyds fought about 100 cabbies it would look pretty much the same. Haugen, Camacho, Ramirez, Taylor compared to Corrales, Castillo, Hatton, Judah, old DLH.

Not much seperating when you pick through the fluff.

 

But when you look back at Chavez career theres maybe two guys he should´ve fought that he didnt Nelson and Mgirt while Floyd has about ten of them.theres no "what if" when we talk about Chavez career cant say the same about Floyd.

I feel it safe to assume if you're a fan of Mayweather's you're likey a fan of Camacho's, right? Or one could reasonably assume, anyway:

Im a big fan of Camacho at 130. When he could quite literally be called one of the fastest fighters to lace up the gloves. When he fought JCC he was already past his best weight and Rosario had broken him as a fighter.

 

Generally slim pickens at the lower weight classes. At 130-135 you could say the same of Floyd. When you get to the higher weight classes its alot deeper in terms of top talent.

 

Holding, low blows and running sure is a schooling.

 

Hearns was huge. Hearns is over-rated.

 

:rofl You've never seen the fight have you? Pea showed very little movement in that fight. Maybe a few steps to the left or right, after a punch. Thats called boxing. Even when they did stand and trade Pea got the better of him even forcing Chavez to the ropes once I believe.

The Rosario fight was like the defining fight in my eyes, Chavez was on fire about that time and Edwin was the last piece in the jigsaw Chavez had to go through to be truthfully seperated from the rest as a future ATG.... A bit like Holyfield being classified as arrived after he took that last piece of the cruiser mish mash from Deleon.. In many ways those late 80's years were very magical.. I became a fan of Jc 's around that time, he was a monster at that weight, I later found it shocking how that same man would lose to Frankie Randall.......

 

Seen it like 20 times. Pea won, no schooling,though.

 

Definition of a schooling. As much as a schooling can go without any major injuries or a knock out. Pea used Chavez that night.
