I like Hatton, good fighter lot's of heart. But I think he should not fool himself any longer, like many on here have noticed Hatton talks about himself in the third person, this seems in a psychological way make him belive that he is this multi division champion which he sort of was, fought Collazo and then PBF that was it for the multi division. But when he talks about it i think he convinces himself that he has accomplished more than he really has.

Ray Hatton can fool Ricky Hatton though. He sees Ricky as cash cow 1st, son 2nd in my opinion.

Pretty accurate though from what I've seen. After that Pac fight any normal parent would have been begging him not to fight again, that wasn't the impression Ray Hatton gave off when he was interviewed.

It's just a vibe I get unfortunately. Maybe he's privately begging Ricky to retire, and I hope he is but it doesn't help when he is publicly feeding the excuses for the losses.

this is what makes me think he will fight again, the "hints" that have been let out of the british media....i'm sure his wife is begging him to retire, seeing her face after the manny fight was horrific

I think pretty much everyone was scared for Hattons health when he was flat out on the canvas like that. Everyone except Pac it seems, anyway.

That's right. If I had seen my son (don't have a son but you know) get pole axed in front of millions of people, to the point where he looked brain dead for a long 60 seconds, I would want nothing more to do with him fighting. I certainly wouldn't be trying to make it look as if he could continue fighting with no problems.

Hatton's head is there to get damaged.
