Anyone know of an email/phone/mailing address where we can contact HBO?

I'd like to let them know about the stupid decision they made to not broadcast Wlad-Chagaev.

Why is it stupid? It's not like they OWE it to you to show every fight that comes down the pipe. They don't want to show the fight because it's not the one they were buying in the first place and also has the makings of being another snoozefest a la Ibragimov. Don't blame them at all.

Agreed. Wlad hasn't be in an entertaining fight, imo, in four years. So I'm glad HBO isn't going to blow their budget on a fight that's not likely to produce any fireworks inside the ring or bring in the greatest of ratings. I think it's best they use the funds to put towards a more intriguing, competitive match up. Klitscho-Chagaev has Klitschko-Ibragimov II written all over it.

At the same time, HBO passing on Klitschko-Chagaev may be better for all Boxing fans in the long run. There's a chance another US network will pick the fight up. If thats the case, we'll get to see the Klitschko fight in addition to another fight(s) that HBO decides to use the available funds for.

Its an excellent decision for them not to show this joke of a fight. Why would be want to see another Wlad vs Sultan or Wlad vs Thompson.

Insomniacs unite a cure is at hand !

Wlad vs Haye vs Vitali are the ONLY fights that people care about in the HW division, possibly Arreloa aswell.

So Wlad-Byrd II and Brock had no fireworks? They both got knocked the hell out. Both of those fights were in the past 4 years.

The Brock fight was fairly entertaining, but Byrd II was boring. Wlad is the only guy I can think of who is boring to watch even when he's knocking guys TFO.

Wlad really blew it there because I remember that fight getting a fair amount of press. He was fighting in Madison Square Garden, he was on the Late Show with Conan O'Brien right before the fight to promote it, and I think they even mentioned the fight on ESPN on the PTI show.... if Wlad had put on a good performance in that fight he might have had a chance to build up some decent fan fair from your average casual boxing fan, but instead he just stunk up the place real foul that night. He blew that opportunity real big. :-(
