I dont understand why all of a sudden people are saying Haye is "chicken" or "ducking wlad"......boxing is a violent sport, and injuries do happen, untill proven otherwise give the guy the benefit of the doubt....

If Wlad and Vitali didnt take the guy seriously why give him the horrendous contract in the first place....if they thought he was some bum, they would have given him a fight right away, one fight deal, and no problems...if they were so sure that haye didnt pose a threat....

haye is NO "chicken"....when did former world lineal champs become chickens.....ridiculous some people think this.....

I agree with some of the previous posters, hopefully Vitali can step up to the plate, once haye gets better, and honor the horrendous contract they made haye sign.

VitKlit's arbitration case with the WBC will be settled next week. If they rule he does not have to fight Maskaev he will be fighting Arreola in Los Angeles in the Fall. The deal has been all but made with Goosen they are just waiting on the decision.

Haye is not getting a Vitali or Wlad fight until 2010 at the earliest.

I understand some of the reasoning behind that, but why sign contracts?

you mean for the Arreola fight? They have not signed contracts but the numbers have been agreed upon. They are waiting for the decision next week.

i thinks its good arreola is taking the fight, and will be exciting while it last, but haye imo needs to be resolved.

Why do people think Haye deserves a shot? Let him fight a legit top ten Heavyweight. Haye has nobody to blame but himself.

but you figure after all the bull**** promo stunts haye has pulled, that some has been a little harsh, you figure the k bros. would be eager to KO this guy....and put another stamp on the era.....haye needs to be eventually confronted, if i was haye i would hound these guys to the ends of the earth till i get my fight.

What if Haye loses before he gets a chance to fight either Klitschko?

i actually agree this is a good question....i thought stylistically haye had a real chance against wlad imo....and would have trouble with the other heavies....

styles make fights....wlad vs haye would be fireworks.....

if i was a haye i would be smart hound these guys, and beat up bums in tune ups....so he can get wlad.

Haha yeah they MADE him sign it.. put a gun to his head :patsch

They DID give him a shot right away.... But his amateur promoter/manager team couldn't put it together properly.... So the bros were like 'we gonna do it our way'

that's just the power you have when you are the champs... YOU dictate the terms... not the challenger.

so once the guy signs the deal, and gets hurt...its like screw him all of a sudden?.....I think there should be a lesson learned here for other fighters here, to some how make better contracts about injuries involved....so i will agree haye's team messed up there.
