    An absolute legend.
    I've got Chavez' career set on dvd and I never get tired of watching him fight. The way he would break down his opponents was a thing of beauty.
    Rosario was probably his best performance but Chavez stayed on top for a very long time - he was amazingly consistent.
    I recently watched his fights against Martinez and Castillo - I'd forgotten how good those fights were. No chance of me ever forgetting how great Chavez was though.

    Chavez is an ATG, and I've never said anything to the contrary, but you guys really overrate him.

    you clearly didn't watch pea-jcc

    it was a competitive fight but with a clear winner(pea obviously), it was no one sided beat down or anything

    It was only dominant in score 8-4 but in no round did he Pea 'school' Chavez.

    he is bro...but he's just a kid, so he'll eventually grow into the sport....i just find it funny that he talks so much ****.....about a year ago, he confused balodmir with OSCAR DE LA HOYA :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    I'm sorry but Pea was robbed. Whether you scored it 8 to 4 or 9 to 3...it was a robbery.

    There was a definitive winner and there's no way you can justify giving JCC 6 rounds.

    Chavez is a legend but he wasn't the better man that night.
