Eze, if you've followed boxing in th 80's and 90's, you'd know that even though we have some good fighters today, they aren't as complete as what they were in past eras.

Where's you SRL, Hearns, Hagler, Trinidad, JCC, Duran, Sanchez, Finito, Barrera, Morales, DLH, Winky, Vargas Gomez, Rosario, Arguello, Pryor etc...?

Hell, Hopkins and Mosley, two 90's fighters are on top today, that truly shows where the quality level is today.

Prime Chavez beat anyone around his division Today.

I don't care to spend time learning about the in and out of all the past ATG's.

What does that to for me? I care about here and now. Now that Chavez beat an 0-0-0 guy in his 30 something professional fight.

Here's the thing. Who cares?! Instead of clamoring about bad the divisions are now or how the past matches up against the fighters now, talk about what fight needs to be made and how certain fighters deal with other fighters in todays era.

I admit I don't care about a lot of past fighters.

 

Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez, Williams, Dawson, Gamboa, Lopez, Cotto ect.

This generation has its fair share of stars. And what do you mean by complete. You could find flaws with every fighter on your list atleast at one point in their careers. Winky Wright lost to Vasquez and was knocked down a couple of times remember early in his career?
