Haye's options have decreased big time. Surely he should try everything to fight Valuev for the WBA title? He risks getting stopped in his tracks by a decent contender.
:nonoWhy? If vatily beats haye the 2 brothers aren't gonna fight each other so I think its better for the sport if valuev vs haye happens so the winner can fight the winner of wlad vs chag. And just maybe when the smoke clears Wlad wont be the last man standin so Vitaly can mop the floor with who ever:thumbsup
This isn't realistic what with all the mess with the sanctioning bodies. Haye is going to have to go fight a few contenders and wait for things to become a little clearer.
Then drop the sanctioning belts to see who is the best heavyweight in the world. The ring mag belt is the only belt that matters no matter what division it is. Its happening in the LW division so why isn't it realistic?
Valuev is not going to fight ANYONE that has a chance over him, even if he does it will be in his backyard with his judges and fixed scorecards. This guy is here as a circus show till they have enough of his inability to fight, that's when he gets fed to anyone else they plan to promote and sent back to the jungle he came from.
I don't disagree with you but precedent suggests Valuev and his team will hold onto that belt by whatever means necessary.
If I am Haye I would try and fight one of these fighters: Valuev (unlikely King is only going to let him fight other Don King fighters) Brewster Ruiz Meehan A victory over any of these fighters would get Haye a high ranking in the alphabet orgs.
Will either guy's management want the fight? Especially Arreola. After all, he seems pretty much a shot if he doesn't get beaten in the mean time.
At the Scene, and I feel like I've seen it a couple other places as well. It would make sense for HBO since they've been pimping Arreola so hard.
