Only if he sat on him.

Solis ain't been too impressive either, Boytsov beat similar or better opponents more impressively.

The inefficiency in finishing is something he'll have to work on- when he had Bidenko hurt, was about as precise as a zombie trying to get his first brains in 50 years.

Besides that, I liked what I saw- good movement, handspeed, pop, and punch variety. It seems like he's gotten himself back on track quite nicely after stalling somewhat in his development. Overall, I'm encouraged by what I saw out of him today. Bidenko's no bum, but Denis took care of him pretty one-sidedly. :thumbsup

    Bidenko - Boytsov.
Dammed good fight, Boytsov is very fast fisted, and hits hard...and most important, throws short punches...has to has short arms...good defence.
Bidenko wanted to take advantage of Boystov's lack of condiion for long rounds....
Was aiming at dominationg the latter rounds.

Was a good high quality fight.
Bidinko was good, but not good enough.

Boytsov was wild in finishing Bidinko, who with staggered and ducked and staggered (was surprizxing he'd not gone down, and finally a short hard upper cut floored him...dammed good punch, but was wild before that.
Had the ref counted, the bell would have saved Bedinko, who was up and staggering big time into the ropes.

    Ref was right.

    :lol::good

Good to hear Boytsov did well.:good Bidenko is a pretty good win considering he completely outboxed the plodding Virchis before getting sucker punched late. Seems Boytsov did it in good style.

No way.Not from what ive seen of Solis. He needs to lose at least 20 pounds first, hes simply not big enough to carry that sort of weight.

Yes very powerful guy but he has still to learn a lot! Take him in with solis
or chazz witherspoon! Would be more of a fight!

But don't forget that Bidenko returned from a 1 year layoff due to injuries...still, Boytsov made some progress and actually boxed his way to victory...the knockout was wild but he got it...

    Agreed.

I should say Bidenko fought wrong fight. His pressure quick-handed power puncher approach didn't work.

A heavyweight fight worth watching imo, very easy work for the referee (except for the last few seconds as Bidenko unsuccessfully tried to make it out of the round by way of holding).

This one along with Wlad vs Chagaev and Dimitrenko vs Chambers is exactly the kind of hw fight that needs to be made more often.
