Tommy Hearns fought more legends and ATGs than Chavez. That is a fact.

Hearns by a mile. Chavez never fought guys like Cueves or Benitez or Duran or Leonard or Hagler and wow the list goes on and on. Virgil Hill up 30 pounds. Hearns opposition was so much better.

Chavez fought some really decent competition, but to even suggest that he came close to the competition that Hearns fought is ****ing ridiculous.

chavez fought everybody and anybody who was somebody back in the day.....

    pea
    taylor
    ramirez
    chapo
    camacho

just those names alone aint too far from some of hearns' competition.....you add kostya, oscar and many more and you can even equal it...it aint like hearns won all of his big fights...:deal

Ramirez and El Chapo and Camacho (when he fought Hector) were not close to guys like Cuevas and Benitez and Duran and Leonard and Hill and Hagler. Hearns fought better guys. That fact you cannot argue about, and he only lost to two of them in their prime.

Chavez will be the main event. Based on him being more popular and that is all. Hearns was the better fighter of the two.
