Lopez would be outworked early and Jones would take the lead outpunching him however Jones would be coming right at Lopez and I cant think of too many fighters ever that could get away with that thats not the way to beat Lopez, Lopez could really bang and I dont care how tough you say Jones was he couldnt eat Lopez's best shots for Long Lopez Ko 8

I thnk Lopez had more overall offensive talent and put his punches together better when he could be bothered, though JOnes may have hit a bit harder.Lopez probably had a better chin and strength too, with Jones the better defensive fighter and jabber. Both at their best, gimme Lopez in a great fight as long as it lasts.I think he has the edge in what would be the most important attributes here.Neither guy is going to have to go looking for the other, and though Jones had a better guard and a really heavy jab he isn't going to be outboxing Lopez like Quartey was able to.
