You realize WIlliams asid he won't fight Kirkland (pre-jail of course) becasue he's too unknown?. Does that mean he's scared? No, just that he's doing the same on a slightly lesser level.

What a clear and obvious double standard ..... How come, when Mosley does that its cool ... but somebody like Floyd does it and its a crime against boxing and its fan base.:huh

Fair enough, but I applaud Paul in his quest to fight the big names out there. Most fighters in his position would be saying the same things. I for one would love for him to clean up the 154 division and establish his legacy there. The recognition and big money fights would surely come after that

I have a feeling he would though. But more of a last resort if he doesn't get any of the mega fights.

I doubt he'd take it, Shane probably rather stay inactive and wait for Pac/Cotto/Floyd(even though none of them will pay him mind, maybe except Cotto) instead of fighting P. Willy. I would like for Shane to stop waiting around for these big paydays and fight someone already.

154 i there for Williams. The names there aren't soo big they have better options, and I think he can clean it out. Williams can stake his claim and DEMAND **** at that point. I just hope he can gather a larger following.

I'd favor Williams in this...even a KO is very possible. And there might be some fireworks till it lasts. that or Mayorga makes it ugly.

Mayorga might be able to seriously hurt Williams, which makes this interesting. I'd actually like to see this fight, and with Paul having so much trouble finding an opponent, I actually think a bout with Mayorga makes a lot of sense.

    :good

To quote Jim Lampley "Mayorga is the most willing target around".

He adds nothing to Williams credibility or resume ..... nothing at all. These guys need to man-Up and fight Williams - How can he make a living, when all the belt-huggers are afraid to face him???
