Some people think this is a good fight just because of the ring belt.....but does it bring excitment and drama to the division that the sport can build off of? The simple answer is NO!.....

Here some think Chgaev is a tougher fight for Wlad then Haye, I just dont see it....

Haye is explosive, quick, has pretty good footwork, and has devestating power.....chagaev has none of those intangiables.....

I see Wlad destroying this guy or winning a very boring lopsided UD,THUS.........

Setting up for a possible backlash against the klitschko's if not already.....
hope wlad understands that if he gives us fans another boring UN-entertaining fight, it will just create more public support for Haye against him or Vitali.......Once again I understand Wladwould be upset....but it seems to me he is not thinking long-term imo.....

Wlad beating up on Chgaev is a downer for the sport, and even worse is if Chagaev by a miracle beats wlad, this injury-prone sick guy will sit on that ring belt till grandfather time dies himself......

What will you say if Wlad gives us another boring uneventful fight, which has come to DEFINE what the heavyweight division has become?

    Your Thoughts?

My thoughts are that Wlad and Chagaev both deserve credit for making this fight happen, given the circumstances.

I suspect it will be a typical Wlad fight with him wearing Chagaev down and eventually stopping him mid-fight.

Klitschko haters will criticize Wlad (unjustly) and his fans will praise his efforts, overstating them, saying he did what he had to do.

true, I applaud Chagaev for stepping up, and Wlad still wanting to fight and stay active that should be praised, but he waited for haye in march and april, so he decided to wait till June, I just dont see why he couldnt wait till July 25th....that gives him plenty of time to work out a deal to fight povetkin later in the year, and i'm sure he could work out a deal with the IBF to postpone the fight till nov or dec.....since the klitischkos seem to have pull with the sanctioning bodies.

I love it how Klit lovers say Chag is a threat and would give Wlad a tough fight.

    Why shood he wait?
He's already put his own money into his training camp...he should just throw that money away?

Personally, I think Wlad would have stopped Haye more quickly than I expect him to stop Chagaev, but I imagined Haye-Wlad being more entertaining while it lasted.

Damn it, they control the heavyweight division. Vitali was out for 4 years, and Sillyman made him WBC champ emeritus when he was gone.

If Haye and Wlad continue winning, they'll meet eventually.

Who's to say Haye will definitely be ready in July?

I don't think Klitschko will win in boring fashion again. I think he learned from the Iggy fight and I don't think this will be as difficult a fight as that one. If Wlad doesn't have Chagaev outta there after 7-8 rounds, I expect Manny will be all over him to pour it on and get the KO....and this time Wlad will make it happen.

i agree with you about how the fight may go, i think if he doesnt stop chagaev in 7 or 8 he will when a lopsided UD.....chagaev is just to slow and small to make this an entertaining fight.

Well Wlad better go in for the kill early or else he runs the risk of cutting him open later on which would potentially lead to contracting hepatitis B
