well just my opinion of course, I respect yours, but I've never seen a boring ricky fight even when he loses.

    The Urango fight?

(don't get me wrong I like Hatton too, but some of his fights are not that exciting, but I guess its down to opinion :good)

true, the only reason i liked the urango fight is it is a bit different then all of rickys post tszyu fights, he actually had to show his boxing skills, and thats why i found it entertaining.....urango berto put me to sleep because i will admit urango has the reflexes of a 90 year old woman.

I thought the decent rounds in the Hatton-Collazo fight were mostly the ones that Collazo won. In them he made space and unleashed flurries on Ricky and hurt him a few times and he looked very good. Apart from the first three ish where Hatton got a KD, most of his rounds were holding and hitting and that got very tedious.

The Tszyu fight was the best and worst thing that ever happened to Hatton.

It's his best ever win and career highlight, but it also made him fall in love with mauling and walking through punches, hence why we see him trying to maul bigger guys when he could have easily made much easier work of him.

i had it 115-114 collazo collazo ****ed himself. if he kept his balanced in the 1st round and if he applied more pressure on koing hatton in the last round he would have had a much bigger argument as it stands it was a very close fight

So let me see if I have this right, one time you scored the fight 116-111, then the last time you watched it you scored it 115-113, plus you say that there is a possibility it could even have been 114-113. Yet Ricky clearly won, you don't understand the controversy and we shouldn't even be arguing about it. Alright then:hey

TBH I didn't find the fight as boring to watch as I'd feared, not a great fight but not THAT bad either. Collazo IS a very good fighter but he either didn't get his tactics right in that fight or Hatton didn't allow him to get them right.

I remember watching it live with a bunch of mates, 2 out of four (me included) believed Collazo just nicked it, i watched it again the day after (Sober) and had hatton up a point, just watched it again since this thread and have it:-

114-113 - In Favour of Hatton, (couldve been a draw, im unsure whether to give round 12 a 10-9 or 10-8 to Collazo)

The last round should not be a 10-8 to Collazo. Yes he hurt Hatton big in the round, but it was not exactly a mauling to warrant a 10-8 round, plus Hatton was throwing back at Collazo.

like i understand it being close....but i dont see how so many think collazo won.....and it was a UD too 2 judges having it 115-113.....if it was a split decision or a draw/majority decision scorecard I would understand the cloud of doubt....but hatton won clearly even if it was close.

I will rewatch later, I've only watched it once 'live', and I had Collazo by a point... so that's on the record before I post a rbr.

Some of the international bouts mentioned would be great to do.

And despite my laziness in this thread so far, round by round scoring is a great idea.

    Nice work TFFP

May I suggest Marquez-Vazquez III as a possible future fight to score? :D

I've watched it numerous times but never scored it. Any excuse to watch it again....:yep
