    Ignorance is bliss.

Chagaev is a 2-time amateur world champion, beat the great Savon, and the only undefeated HW titleholder currently. Wlad is facing the dude with a chance NOW, after that, back to the Thompsons, Peters, Hayes.

Well put. Given the circumstances this is the second best fight out there, IMO. Chagaev will turn up to trouble Wlad, but won't.

No, I enjoyed it thoroughly. When you have two elite fighters doing battle in a tactical chess match of adjustments and counter-adjustments, it's great.

This fight is, IMO, grossly underestimated by many.

I think Wlad is a very good fighter, and when he loses, I'm guessing it will be against someone we'd never expect to beat him.

People on here already have their mind made up and the fight has not even happened yet.

thats not what I was saying Chef. Even if Wladimir utterly smashes Chagaev to bits ( which even you must agree is not his style ) no-one will care.

I totally accpet he was left with a tough choice but for his legacy and for the betterment of the division waiting for Haye would have been better.

I absolutley understand that would be a risk though ( the injury may re-appear) but I feel that it would have been a risk worth taking.

Wlad could easily retire having dominated for a long time but without the big exciting win , he will mainly be remebered for being stopped 3 times ( by less than stellar opposition and he is a better fighter than that ! )

man you Klitschko boys are reaaaaaaallly defensive ! Take it easy :good

Considering I think Wladimir IS going to beat up Chagaev badly & boringly, I don't know...probably the same they do now.

Wlad does deserve more recognition though. Hopefully a win here will further that.

It's still a bit awkward having the most obvious challenger and best fight available to you not an option.
