I dont understand why HBO wont be televising this fight (if reports are true) its not as if its a bad match up and they've already had plans in place to show this card so its unlikely they'll have something else to show in place of it.

But it does show the appeal David Haye has, which is the only good news for him i suppose

The best cruiserweight champ versus the best heavyweight champ. That is what people wanted to see. Wlad v Chagaev is quality but Haye intrigues.

I spoke to eventim where I got my tickets from - really helpful by the way - and they asked me to call back on Monday,Tuesday and they can confirm things then as to if I get a refund or not. If I can get a refund I might take it and go to Haye's fight in Sept should it happen. But I am slightly warming to the idea of going over.

this is a very good fight and the best that could be hoped for in the circumstances, i actually think chagaev will be a tougher fight for wlad although it won't be as exciting as wlad vs haye, wlad was training for a conventional bomber, it also helps chagaev was training for someone taller then wlad, chagaev is also much more skilled then haye and better on the inside

I'm still going. I'm sure there will be plenty of fun to be had. And all us Brits can still show the Germans how to have a good time at a fight. Has any one seen a fight there? It's like a library. A good rendition of rule Britannia should do the trick.

the only thing to check mate is that you ge the full amoun t refunded ...ticket agencies would only refund the ticket value not the booking and posting fee, whioch if i remeber was 30e at the time ...,also check what excnhagne rate there using as you dont want to lose out that way ...simple advice but might save you

Like ManosDePiedra said, if Chagaev pulls this one off then Haye's going to be cursing himself for years.

If only for that one fight, he'll be the most nervous Klitschko fan out there.

Something else that could go wrong:

-They end up making it Vitali-Haye instead of Wlad-Haye.

That would be painful to watch.

What do you think will happen to all the tickets of those that do not go to the Klit-Chag fight, will they get a refund from Eventim and then Eventim will release these tickets via their website?

Has anyone actually received their tickets from Haye-Klit, normally they do not send tickets until a week before the event, to prevent counterfeiting etc???

I'm definately not going. Klit v Chagaev is the same pile of shite we've been watching in the HW division for years now. It does nothing for me whatsoever.

Queensbury Travel are refunding my tickets and the hotel is refundable. I'll add the cost of the flights to my compensation claim for getting run over and having my leg broken
