I think it shows Haye built up steam for this fight, whether you like him or not as a fighter.....HBO knows what there doing......

and it also says something about Wlad as a "big" draw....

Boxing NEEDS David Haye....People want to see this guy!

It does say that Golden Boy Promotions controls HBO...WBC is right with their statement earlier this week, though they follow their own interest but they are right...

HBO is suppost to be the stiff upper lip of US boxing, this garbage routine there supposed to be above, i mean hayes never fought on US tv, why do they really believe that hayes is going to bring in the basketball, football (real one), basball an hockey sports fan who rarley watch boxing, people are watching for wlad, to me chagaev/hayes it does not matter, there watching for wlad, those casual fans know of wlad, they would be better if ruiz was in the fight, that would be a name fans (US) would notice. Everybody i know who watches espn2/hbo fights, but not really follow on the web, do not have a clue who hayes is

He had is last 8 fights on HBO, most were played twice on saturday, you have to have some sort of following to get that respect,,,,

i say he had 18 of his fights on HBO give or take 1 or 2 an few on espn

i love the fact hbo is controlled by gbp so that together they say **** you to these abc belts and only recognise one lineal champion in each division thats how it should be

So HBO and GBP recognize Zsolt Erdei now? And the winner of Wlad vs Chagaev as well? Great news then. :good

Chagaev is an excellent opponent, he's supposed to be the WBA champ, I cannot see why HBO don't want to show this. I hope it's on Setanta.

I think HBO were seeing Haye's power, and supposed succeptibility to being KOed, (and Wlad being seen as the same way) as creating a very dramatic scenario for when they fought.

I think they probably see Chagaev as being along the lines of another onesided and uneventful decision win for Wlad............ I hope not, but, we'll see.

I think Wlad and Steweard remember the pasting they took in the boxing press over the Ibragimov fight, and he won't do that, again. I think he knows he has to balance being cautious, and making a firm statement...........He obviuosly has to win and can't get wreckless, but I think he will, this time, be more assertive than he was against Ibragimov and will set out to knock Chagaev out, even if he has to toss a bit of caution to the wind.........
