The one thing that I'm proud of with Pac, Wlad and others who have lost early is that they could've given up the sport, yet they've become good to almost great if not great already!

this is not necessarily true. if you are really new here, you must know how pac was regarded here at ESB compared to floyd just a little over 1.5 year ago. floyd was catching flak from old posters because of his attitude outside the ring but they could not deny his talent, skill and achievement. when compared to floyd head-to-head and greatness, pac used to be always inferior to floyd.

but all this have changed when pac started racking up impressive wins at 130 over jmm and 135 over diaz. people now are putting pac's achievement at par with, and some even better than, floyd. pac is now starting to beat floyd in opinions and polls where greatness was asked.

now with pac's impressive showing against oscar while floyd retired without fighting anyone from the top welters that time, people have put pac even higher than floyd that polls comparing their greatness were now in pac's overwhelming favor. add to that the recent hatton performance as to why pac is now getting all the praises that he deserves.

of course, all this would change if floyd started to win again. people are just simple. if they see a fighter winning, its enough for them. of course it would be better if floyd would fight top welterweights after he is done with jmm and/or pac. he would be getting more respect beating them than beating an out-sized opponent like jmm.

you would ask if i would give him credit if floyd beats pac? yes i will because pac, even he is a little man, has done great things at the higher weight that beating him would still give floyd huge credit. but as a boxing fan, i would still want to see floyd mixing it up with top fighters his size.

In this day and age you have to know that color of skin or place of birth has nothing to do with a fighters mentalities or styles. We are in an age where the eastern Europeans have taken over the higher weights.

When just a few years ago we wouldn't have imagined a good white heavyweight. Now they rule a formerly dominant black division. With the emergence of Pac we have begun to see the prevalence of Asian fighters once again. I heard a clueless poster the other day say Asia has had no good boxers besides Pac not just now even through history. We have a crop of young Cuban prospects who were great amateurs that have defected.

We at this time probably have the most diverse array of world champions at any one time. Just to see the different landscapes of the divisions either frightens or confuses you. But its here and it will stay. As an American (Mestizo) I always thought we had the best boxers, maybe we did. But now every corner of the world is turning out champions and race and color have proven to be a non factor.

Color is a factor in everything, but this was a great post. Why you turn into a ******* when you have to talk about Floyd is beyond me.

This idiot thinks only because someone is a Pac fan they "hate" him. It has nothing to do with that, his stupid form of writing is the most annoying thing.

Who cares what you say about Pacquiao? You write like an idiot.

Ohhh, I see we are getting a little sensitive. Nothing wrong with playing videogames. Liking really ugly women, like you do, now that's very wrong.
