Who is More Exciting Haye or Chagaev? You be the Judge

Can't believe I'm saying this but I'd like to see how Haye would do against Ruiz.

Ruiz is a boring fighter, but he hangs around and that could cause problems for a guy who banks on getting guys outta there. He's a bit of a chess player. Would Haye have the character to find a plan "b" once Ruiz weather his early onslaught and made things ugly and sloppy?

Before you answer, there's no easy answer.

 

FYI, Ruslan had a better amateur career than Haye, he actually won world championships, and beat Solis.

Well "valnyc" the reason the EUROPEAN challenges were not world class is because it was for the EUROPEAN title. Dickhead. And yes you forgot to mention its the same Haye who won at the world championships. The same Haye who was Ring and undisputed Cruiserweight champion. And the same Haye who is challenging people. American tosser

 

At the end of the day, Haye should be happy to fight Wlad, Vitali, or, if he were to beat him, the then undefeated and Wlad-conquering Chagaev, who would also hold a win over Valuev to his name.

Valuev is still looking to fight. Why doesn't Haye try and get him over here for July/August if he's still looking to fight???? If not, Haye should fight a durable and established HW like Ruiz or Toney, or a younger guy like Kevin Johnson or Odlanier Solis.

I'd like to save Arreola for when the guy is in better shape; I think that fight has the potential to be a classic as long as Arreola isn't a blob, otherwise Haye will knock him silly within the first two rounds IMO

Btw, most of the time when the best fight the best it's going to be dull these days but when 2 fair matched opponents are going to fight each other, it most likely gives you entertainment and action. Haye and Arreola fit this bill (not the best, not near as good as them - FOTY candidate) same as Wlad and Chagaev (Wlad at top and Chagaev likely the best of the rest - dull affair)...

did i say he didn't? All i was saying is that alot of people underestimate Hayes boxing abilities. And I don't really understand how Chagaev can be veiwed as a better heavyweight than Haye at this stage.

Because Chagaev is undefeated, and has wins over Ruiz, Virchis and Valuev, as well the WBA title and a top three ranking in The Ring, Boxrec and Fightnews.

 

Haye obviously is the more exciting fighter i don't think anyone has questioned the amount of exitement he brings to the game..

 

yea ricky was overhyped, he was in the top 10 p4p list for awhile....and had a 4 year reign as lineal 140 world champ.....i see you have done your homeworkatsch

 

So, do you think if Haye fought Chagaev at heavyweight Chagaev would win? Ricky Hatton had wins of Tszyu, Collazo and Malignaggi, but that certainly didn't make him a better light-welter than Manny Pacquiao.
