There is NO guarantee that Haye will be ready on the 25th. 1st it was the 11th now its the 25th MAYBE!!!!!
put blame where blame is due. True injury or not..HAYE pulled out of this fight. PERIOD!

IMO people dogging Wlad are just dumb as hell. Haye talked his way in and then wants the date changed cuz his ***** is sore. Haye got cold feet after all that **** talking. I think he realizes he doesn't have what it takes to back it up. It's been said a thousand times on this board and I will say it again, your boy Haye is a hype job, and he has had plenty of time to think about having his glass jaw shattered for the world to see.

The idiocy over this has hit all time highs even by ESB standards.

We can blame you next. When I saw they went from Haye to Chagaev I thought, "Lemons to lemonade, must be CHEF's doings!".

Wlad is not pathetic for taking on Ruslan on June 20th. Ruslan has a piece of the HW title, he is also ranked in the top 3 - 5 by most of the boxing orginizations, he is ready and availible to fill the time slot that HBO had set up for Wlad - Haye. I think its smart business to take Ruslan and keep the date. After this fight then he can make another fight with Haye. Its not like Wlads 40 and Hayes 38.

Three weeks talk is bull****, we know it will take more than three weeks and Wladimir isn't going to be sitting doing nothing as it's not his fault. They did the same when Povetkin had to pull off so Haye is no different.

This gives Haye a chance to have one more fight before stepping in against Wladimir, it could be a blessing for all we know.

Any news about the TV issues in the states CHEF? It would be nice if ESPN were able to pick it up, or even a regular cable company like versus.

Jesus Christs, the ******s really are out in force at the minute.

    1. 3 weeks was Adam Booths bull**** guess to try and keep Wlad on the hook, it's since come out he'll be out a lot longer.

    2. Do keyboard jockies appreciate the logistic nightmare involved in moving back a 60,000 person fight back a few weeks?

    3. Wlads already been waiting along time for this fight, and he's had enough.

    4. He has to make a mandatory defence against Povetkin in September, he wait for Haye any longer he'll get stripped of his IBF belt, further fracturing the woreld title and causing much pissing and moaning on the internet.

    5. A good argument can be made that Chagaev is a superior opponant to Haye anyway, he's a good undefeated heavyweight not a chinny cruiserweight. I'll admit it probably won't be an exciting fight but it should be competitive.

    6. It'll crown a ring champ and hopefully be for the WBA title too, making Wlad the real, crowned king of the HW division.

1.) Chagaev would beat Haye. 2.) Why does Haye deserve a delay because of his injury, and not Povetkin who EARNED the right to be number 1 challenger to Klitschko? There should be no double standards just because the Brits want a heavyweight title/Haye is a loudmouth.

Why doesn't Ruslan talk some **** maybe or spend a few bucks and have a stupid hat made or something, then maybe HBO will pick it up.

    A very good summary.

The numerous topics like this generated by the Wlad (K bro) haters :| isn't surprising to long timers on ESB. Agree w/CHEF and many others. I don't think Scar is a big Wlad fan (nor a hater) and he's coming down on the right side of this issue.

The OP needs to realize that when Wlad losses the HW title - to whoever - it won't be the OP in the ring doing the fighting and the OP's life will be the same. Many fans seem to get too much of their self esteem based on some team or individual athlete :-(
