    Thank you Johnaliboa....for the clip.
I had only seen him fight at Cruiser one time against some one with little defence named E-something just before Haye went heavy.

I know understand why Hayes is the most feared fighter in the Heavy division. I'd certainly fear to set any money on him, at any odds.

A man only sees what he wants to see. Someone with jingoistical tendencies much less than a neutral observer.
A hater with jingotistical tendencies is blind as a cave grown crab.

When someone throws a haymaker as a main weapon, no matter how fast he is, he is slow and very open.

Take a watch with a stop function...click it on, as you start a haymaker. Click it off when finished.
Do the same with a right cross.
    Subtract.

Add Wlad's very nice classic long hook...add his adaquate short hook. Both are fast and hard. Add's Wlad's span and his height, subtract Haye's span and height for true reach.

Add wide open throwing a haymaker.

    Count to ten.....

I had not realized just how shakey Hay's chin really was...even though many mentioned it.

For some one who is so "fast?", he certainly can be hit and hurt by mediocre "slow" fighters

Do you understand the business side of boxing?

Haye's injury -- a strained back -- is something that could easily be reinjured before July 11th. Simply put, Haye is not reliable for the July 11th date. If Vlad accepts the July 11th date and Haye reinjures himself, Vlad is screwed business-wise for most of 2009.

Also, Chagaev is better tested and more experienced than Haye.

I said getting injured while training for the biggest fight of your life is pathetic. I never said that getting any injury is "pathetic" or that any boxer who gets injured is automatically pathetic.

its a tough sport, injuries happen.

I tell you what. When you go to work tomorrow, what if your boss were to say, "Hey, I need to postpone your employment. I'd like you to start in 3 weeks instead. But, I'm not guaranteeing we are going to be open in 3 weeks either. It might be more like 6.

You'd wait around for him, right? Because if you didn't, you'd be a chicken.

 Because Ruslan isn't Haye, who thinks he's a 2000s version of Ali or the typical trash talking US fighter

It's looking like DH is scared of fighting many of the live HWs out there. If he's so damn good, this could be an opportunity for Haye to fight some legit top 10 guys. Haye might end up better than Peter at HW, but so far has done less than SP.

Chagaev may be better than Haye as a fighter, but Haye is the more marketable of the two by far. I'm not surprised that HBO is dinging Vlad-Chagaev, even though it's a competitive fight and a dangerous move for Vlad.

The only reason Vlad-Haye was staged in the first place is because of Haye's marketability, and not because of Haye's proven ability. Vlad has already altered his own business and fighting schedule for Haye in 2009; he cannot be expected to do it again.

If Haye stays clean, he will fight Vlad in 2010.

The Heavyweights now dont know how to promote a fight like the ones of yester year. I do think thats a big reason the division is so unpopular with mainstream fans, while lack of overall talent doesnt help much either.

Thats why Wlad is not household name in the states, the guy does not have an enertaining personality. If he did, he would get more attention. Lewis really didn't have much of a personality, but he fought guys like Tyson, Holyfield, and Golota who had a huge following in the states and were popular enough to get peoples attention, to the point where Lewis really didn't have to do anything but sit back and relax. Wlad doesn't have that luxury, and the only guy that can promote a fight in the division, is David Haye, and Wlad's not facing him now.

HBO has paid plenty of money for crap Wlad Klit defenses. They don't owe him anything.

While I don't necessarily agree that a Chagaev fight is a crap fight, I respect HBO for trying to hold firm on just showing competitive matches this year (for the most part). And if this saves money for fights later in the year I'm fine with it.

Right now, Haye is sitting on the biggest payday of his career (a showdown with Vlad) if he just remains untarnished. It would be a very stupid move for Haye to take risks by fighting dangerous opponents.

Haye should take tune ups until 2010, when he secures his payday with Vlad. Nothing dangerous for Haye until then.

That would be another excellent cash-out fight for Haye...a bout against Vitali. So far, I have read nothing to this effect in the news, though.
