He nearly murdered Taylor. Pea fought him when he was over with. Oscar fought an old man.

What was JCC's record when he fought Pernell? 87-0. That is just an excuse. When he fought Pernell he was 31. Hard to buy that one really. Pernell was just a better fighter. Not much, but he was better.

Both were great fighters. Why can't both of them be co-main eventers that weekend?

    This is fact.

And no one should be caught trying to dispute either part of this.

I think Pea would have beat him at any weight. In my opinion he was a much, much better fighter than Chavez. Whole 'nother level.

Based on resume it's close, slight edge to Chavez.

PFP Chavez is definitely the better fighter!.

Pernell at 31 was much worse than JCC at 31 with much fewer hard fights. Does this mean JCC > Pernell? Sick of hearing about this fight like it's the end-all be-all of JCC's career. JCC was past his best days, above his best weight and had 80 fights under his belt.

Hearns is overrated, and PBF is scared of Pacman.

hard to pick. i know hearns is great as i think he beat leonard and performed great against greats but i always saw him as a challenger for some reason. chavez on the other hand, spent many years where i really couldnt see him get beat.
if i had to pick i would go with chavez but i will admit to being a bit biased towards one of my top faves in chavez.

    PBF?????????????????????

What the **** are you talkin about? I don't even like that motha****a.

And about Hearns... He is grossly underratred because he fought ATG legends. Not just folk heroes. People who would run through entire divisions. Chavez lost to the only ATG's he faced.
