I don't think Vitali has ever been in a boring fight.

    no they didn't.

hell i even remember a thread in the lounge about what if you won the lottery and most guys said they would use that money to place a bet on wlad ko'ing austin, it was the easiest pick to make.

i can't disagree that they're boring, but there is little to argue in their victories (normally by stoppage) which i think is good! they get the job done. however, if there were multiple 12 round boring bouts (like klitschko-ibragimov) then there would be a problem :smoke

    Different strokes for different folks.

To me, HW's for the most part are boring. I prefer the little guys.

**** that Relentless! I'm fed up with **** threads like this where people forget what's been said or simply 'rewrite' history. It's bull****. People thought Austin would beat Wlad just like they thought Peter would beat Wlad. Or that Peter was 'Heir Apparent'. Or that Peter would destroy Vitali. Or that Brewster would beat Wlad in a rubber match.

I'm fed up with this bull****. When the fights over people act as though it never happened - that they never picked the losing fighter. And why? When I am wrong I come here and I openly admit it! I was Wrong with Hatton over Pac Man - I admitted it; openly! And I will if Bute mans up and accepts Froch's offer too.

People here favoured Austin over Wladimir I remember that all too well every bit as everyone expected Brewster to beatr him in their rematch. ESB is awash with posters suffering from 'selective memory'.

Who the hell would pick Austin over Wlad? I do believe its the opposite, I think maybe 25% of posters picked Austin over Wlad, not the other way around.

I said 75% because well over half (that would be 50%) favoured Austin. I'm not going to take every bloody post sit down factor them out to a mean % and post it here just to appease you for crying out loud!

P.S. YOU show me the POSTS otherwise that favoured Wladimir. I WILL admit I was wrong if you do. Not one but many - show me/us.

I don't even think that you can say that their opponents are too bad. All of their top opponents have looked impressive vs other fighters. The Klitschkos are just too good. You have to think... imagine having all of the size and athletic gifts that those guys possess. Now, imagine growing up your entire life with you and your brother both being amazing athletes... both training together day in and day out. Both of these men are considered the two best boxers in the WORLD at Heavyweight. They have had each other to train with their entire lives. Not only the sparring that they used to do together, but also the fact that they are there pushing themselves and each other every day.... throughout their entire lives. They have the best training partner in the world in each other. Even the best athletes can't get better unless they have great training partners, experience, drive, and someone across from them to make them better, push them to their limits, test them, ect..... They have all of the attributes, and they have themselves to make each other better.
