Either that or not on it because he had one fight near the start of his career in Austria...

He got knocked down twice actually. A young Bernard wasn't quite the master he is known as today. And the high altiture ****ed him up bad. But he did avenge the judge's draw (I had Hopkins winning though) by knocking out Mercado in the rematch.

People forget BHOP also fought in France but I dont think that was a title fight.

Oscar dela Hoya, Darius Michelcheski and RJJ. Maybe we should extend this outside their continent to make it more significant.

Not a great stoppage indeed but not a ludacris one either.
Plus he was getting beat up.

Eh, not of his own volition though. The other fighter's promoter won the purse bid. I'm not sure how much it counts if you're effectively forced to fight in another country.

No, but, again, why do you need to leave the states went the best fighters are there or at least non-US fighters fight there.

Sithsamerchai is supposed to be fighting in China coming up.

Zsolt Erdei hasn't fought outside of Germany of Hungary since he started fighting 8 rounders.

Sergei Dzinziruk hasn't fought outside of Germany since he started fighting 10 rounders.

Lucian Bute hasn't fought outside of Montreal or Romania since he started fighting 8 rounders.

Seriously though, it's overblown. Most of it has to do with market forces.
