. . . . weigh in should be two hours before the fight.

I think that's gonna be fair enough for both sides.

    What do you think?

    Discuss. :D

I dont like this idea because I am in the Mosley tank and I want him to have more of an advantage.

What Team Pac is worried about is Mosley weighing in more than 10 pounds heavier than Pac at fight night. I think this is a better option than Mosley going down 143 for the weight in one day before the fight.

. . . after all the fight is offically suppose to be at 147. :D

Horrible suggestion my friend. Fighters make weight 24/30 hours before fight night for a reason, to have enough time to recover and regain the loss of weight. If they fought right after the weigh-in, dehydrated, drained and out of energy, tragedies would happen in every 2 or 3 week.

The lowest Shane can safely get in my opinion is about 144 pounds. You could put in a contract not to weigh more than 10% (IBF rule) fight night in boxing equipment, but 147 at fight night... that'd put Mosley into the hospital.

Pac should fight Mosley at 147. If he wins he is even more of a legend and if he loses he is still the best fighter in the world. No shame losing to a top5 p4p fighter who outweighs you by over 10pounds and who has fought his entire career above a weight you moved up to less than a year ago.

I think that Pac would win it anyways

That's exactly the point . . . fighters dehydrate themselves to the max to make the weigh in . . . only to hydrate themselves into their real fighting weight after 24 hours. The fighter fighting at 147 lbs division is already weighing 160 lbs comes fight night. Is that fair? I guess not . . . especially when the bigger guy is fighting a guy coming in from the lower weigh class. :yep

    I don't think Team Pac will sign up at 145 . . . at 143 yes.

I don't think they're allowed to do that? It has to be a day before the fight I think. Good idea in theory though.

I don't see why Pac wouldn't wanna fight for the Welterweight Championship of the World when the only difference is a few pounds. He is still lightning fast at 147. If it is below 147, it can be assumed that Roach and company are just trying to allow pac to fight a weight drained Mosley, and there is no honor in that.

Those few pounds means everything in a fight . . . friend. Mosley is a beast at 147 because he weighs in . . . 160 at fight night.

If that's the case Pacquiao who is not a legit 147 pounder will be beaten badly. No way Pac is gonna beat Molsey at 147. :yep
