But if you hit & RUN on the street (or anywhere), then technically you lose the fight because you are conceding that you want no part of the other guy despite landing the 1st blow.

Lets be real here, if MAB had bumped into Morales on the street, he would have kept his head bowed down & kept walking, he only threw that punch at the press conference because he knew there was loads of people & it was gonna get broken up, I have 0 respect for the guy, he`s a little worm in my book.

    :thumbsup

At least Im honest about it, he is an ATG fighter skillwise, I`ll never take that from him, I just dont agree with his way of doing some things & the way he comes across.
He is my least favourite fighter in the world, no doubt.
I actually rooted for Kahn vs Barrera, now thats ****ed up

    :good

I actually dont dislike Kahn, he doesnt bother me one way or another + I had money on Kahn too but even without the £ on it I would have rooted against Barrera so I offer no excuses :D

Barrera beat the living **** out of Agapito Sanchez at 122, who held Manny to a draw AFTER getting two points deducted. In MAB'S true prime, at 122 and before most of the wars, I personally would make him a favorite over Manny. And before you have a heart attack, Bill Butcher, I would also make Erik a slight favorite over Manny.

Manny is a truly great fighter, but I think he is better at 140 than he ever was at the lighter weights and I think both of these guys beat him at 122.

Oh really? Did you know that their rivalry started at a charity event on a soccer field, when Erik was telling everyone that if MAB kicked him one more time he was going to punch him out? Can you guess what happened? MAB immediately ran over and kicked him deliberately, as hard as he could. Care to guess what happened after that?

    Nothing.

I don't know any MAB fans who aren't also Erik fans, but Erik also attracts that Duran, Pryor, Hagler type of fan. Frankly, a lower quality of fandom. Marco takes no **** from anyone, ever, including Erik. Erik is the one who did all the talking, MAB did all the kicking and punching, and if Erik had never opened his piehole in the first place there would have been no hate between them. To this day MAB doesn't hate Erik, it only goes one way. MAB doesn't carry grudges. If you do something to **** him off, he gets it off his chest on the spot.

Good post. I don't think Barrera at 130 would ever beat Manny but as you point out, MAB was not in his prime at that weight. When Barrera was younger, small and a true body punching dynamo, he would have fared much better.

Funny how the people who want to hold a certain opinion will absolutely close their eyes to any facts laid in front of them that bust their little hypothesis in pieces.

    Isn't it, JM22 and Asero?
