Let's not forget that Vitali still needs to settle the Maskaev/WBC issue.

Bad mistake for Haye to fight Vitali. He should have stayed with the easy Klitschko wlad the egg.

Haye by UD. Vitali has really slowed down since his comeback and he'll have a hard time with somebody who is much faster than himmat this point.

Haye would have no chance to beat Vitali. Vitali will kill him!

Vitali wants to fight Haye, but WBC will have something to say about that, if

WBC forces Vitali to fight Maskaev, Vitali/Haye still might happen, just later down the road, sooner than Vlad could fight him though.

I really doubt that Haye will dare to fight Vitali. He was avoiding Vitali like the plague. Haye ducked Vitali once so that I doubt he will jump on this opportunity.

Of course I will applaud such a fight.

Sounds like a good fight, one that could make the fans happy.

Only problem: which one of them will break down before the fight?

It's 50:50 Vitali knee injury vs Haye back injury...

The Sun is about as credible as One Punch. But I've heard this from a few other sources, and I would be surprised If Booth is not targeting Vitali right now.

I could see it happening very easily. Vitali has his card free at the moment and I'm certain Wladmir would not mind if Vitali slotted in.

Oh **** off and stop being such an ignorant nuthugger.

Vitali and Haye had all but signed to fight, before Vitali withdrew to face his mandatory Gomez. End of story, how the **** is that 'avoiding like the plaugue' you dumbass fanboy?

    Yeah, very true.

However, I think Vitali has enough sway over that organisation to at least get them to slot in a voluntary defence first.....getting him to fight Gomez over Haye was a bit shitty, but fair, but another mandatory againt a bull**** opponent is really quite shitty.

I think a Haye fight could be negotiated, and the WBC get Maskaev to wait. You never know though with those corrupt *******s.

Vitali-Maskaev would draw huge money in Russia, even if it'd be a short fight.
From a financial point of view I can see why they want to push for that.
