If Pac is P4P the best fighter on the planet, but there is a guy 7 lbs heavier (Mosley) that would supposedly whoop him at that weight, doesn't that call his P4P status into question? I actually think Pac has a great shot against Mosley at 147. I think counting Pac out at 147 is a grave error and I also feel that if he can't beat Mosley at 147 that he isn't really the P4P champ, because Mosley is beatable at 147 lbs by Williams, PBF and maybe Cotto. If he can't make 135 lbs then he is just the best 140 lb fighter in the world like Hatton was. But 140 is a weak division (which is how Hatton ruled it for so long).

If there is no competition at 140 and Roach and company don't think he can beat the top fighters at 147 lbs, then we need to re-evaluate our P4P rankings. But I think Pac has a great chance at beating Mosley and Cotto at 147. This catch-weight stuff is all about trying to drain and diminish other fighters by a few pounds, knowing that Pac could compete at 147 if he wanted, but this makes it easier for him to win impressively .

First of all you have to remember that 140 is Pac 6th weight divisions and he is already pushing it too far. Why don't you tell Floyd to fight a top guys at 154. Oh wait 154 is only Floyd 5th weight divisions, try 160.

No he shouldn't. Pac and his team made it clear that if they want to fight him they should move down, if these guys don't want to then Pac no problems retiring and moving on. He earned his position as #1 and his demands should be considered. Of course all that changes if they decide to move up and they clearly don't right now.

Floyd did but a 154 hoya is only Floyd 5th weight. It's nothing compare to Pac fighting a 140 Hatton. Hatton was the top dog at 140 and it was Pac 6th weight. That's what you call a true P4P.

i dont think pac should do it... i think he will lose.. but maybe he will want to prove everybody wrong.. i just think naturually mosley is the bigger man an and that is a huge advantage.. and mosley hand speed and power are just a little better but many people would probably beg to difffer

Oscar was a great fighter. Floyd might not have gotten the best version but he got a good fight, and he was moving up in weight. Let's give Floyd some credit. Also Manny was a teenager when he fought at his lowest division wasn't he? So Floyd's 154 is Manny's 147, imo.

I agree with a million times that Pac should fight SSM @147, even at this weight he has alot of chance winning. But i will disagree with you a million times that if Pac will not fight this guy @147 hes not a true P4P, Pac done everything to deserve the spot. P4P doesnt mean you need to fight every no. 1 at each weight classes, P4P means if PAC is as big as Bhop, who should win?
