Do you think Margarito will someday be forgiven just as Mosley was?

I know people are upset at Margarito for the whole loaded gloves phiasco but Mosley was also involved in the BALCO phiasco and now people don't seem to put that into memory anymore. Mosley is considered a great fighter by most and the die hard fans want to see him face the best and do well. So what do you think guys and girls? Will Margarito be forgiven one day? Why or why not?

 

Mosley was never caught nor suspended so I don't know what the hell you're talking about.

 

I'm so sick of this ****, mosley took performance enhancing drugs, and as proved by poly he didn't do it on purpose, Margo wrapped his hands with plaster, the law clearly states that a fighter who uses that in the ring is quilty of assualt with a deadly weapon.

 

Why should Margarito be "forgiven"? He was never "caught" with loaded gloves, he was caught trying to use them. Unfortunately, his wins are clouded. Mosley had performance enhacing substance in his system. If Mosley can be forgiven and I don't buy "he passed the lie detector test" theory, anyone can and that has also been proven. Sorry if Mosley get a free pass so should Margarito.

So you're saying because he was caught he didn't do it?, it only counts when he goes in there with loaded gloves then?

Mosley passed his test and wasn't suspended whether you like it or not so he's clean as far as I'm concerned. Margarito was caught, if he wasn't he was going to use that in the ring and that could KILL his opponent if you don't know already to come up with a pathetic statement like that.

"Oh he was caught before he used his gun so he's clean"

 

Only a low life would back up what Margarito tried to do.

 

The double standard these guys use is quite funny, they bend over backwards to defend a POS like Margo, and than they try to draw others such as RJJ, and SSM into it. What I find sad is the fact that none of these guys will admit that using loaded gloves is in its own special category.

 

You guys are talking like Mosley's Balco tribulations are over and its not. It is now in the Supreme court and even though the judge denied a dismissal in Conte's behalf in May 2009 -- That move forces a jury trial. {Haven't heard the dates yet} So this is to be continued ......

On topic - Yes he will be eventually forgiven by his loyal fans, but it will always be in the forefront of his career as a stain.

I am not defending what Margarito intended to do that night, that is far from what I was trying to explain. Mosely cheated, and he could have also "killed someone" in that ring. The topic of the post is about being forgiven, Mosley was caught "red handed", Margarito was not caught in any of his fights with loaded gloves from what I hear. He is a low life for even trying, I agree with you, but why the double standard with Mosley? Would you condone ALL boxers using steroids, or are you against that also?

 

dont see that need. those that liked margo a year ago will still judge him on what he does in the ring and those that hated him will use this excuse to legitimize their hate. show me 3 posters that showed they were a fan of margo pre mosely and became a hater after and i will agree he needs forgiving.

 

They draw SSM in it because he made Margarito look like the tomato can he really is, exposed him brutally and even exposed him as a cheater to boot with a suspension after kissing the canvas.

Whoever backs up ANY caught cheater is a low life and should be immediately introduced to one's personal "******" list. Any REAL fan of this sport that knows the dangers that comes from it would never EVER back something as LOW as this up knowing that fighters can DIE in there.

 

He won't be forgiven. He probably won't redeem himself either cause I doubt he'll ever have a big win again, post-loaded gloves.
