No but you're trying to make it sound like pac beating barrera is not a big deal by saying hopkins is also # 3 p4p.

Pac beat a prime barrera the first time love or hate it.

I' sick of guys in today's time get discredited for wins...

and the end of the day its about getting the w's and the titles, manny has fought who ever was put in front of him....

to me the hatton win is much more impressive then the oscar win, because I don't think hatton is shot like most people think, and beat hatton at his weight....stop discrediting guys in today's era.

No, I was simply saying you can't just use Barrera's ranking at the time as justification he was still in his prime. I didn't say he wasn't, merely pointing out the flaw in that logic. Now something more viable would be using Marco's previous and post performances and how he did! You see?

Hatton was never a top fighter like ODLH once was. Hatton's chin has been suspect for awhile. It is slightly more impressive than the ODLH win because of the condition ODLH was in for the fight. Pacquiao has far more impressive performances based on the level of competition at the time. His last 3 fights however, do not clearly show where he is actually at. His next fight surely will.

    Please define "Prime".
Most of the fighters I thought were at the best stage of development are quickly becoming bums in this thread?

No way Hatton is one, and I said this before the fight, not after-the-fact. First Barrera fight I'll accept.

He would have steam-rolled Hatton before. Hatton was never a top elite fighter in my opinion. What did he do that was anything special? Don't tell me it was the Tszyu fight!:patsch

then why hes not calling hatton before instead of attending to the bday bash of pac in the Philippines and beg for a fight?

dont tell me about Tsyu fight coz we knew how prime Tsyu at the time of the fight.

and Hatton giving props round after round to Mayweather is not special to you? lol. Mayweathers talent is special. Manny is elite. Period. He lost to better fighters.

Now tell me, is Valero special and elite?

    Oh, He will be, right?

When? When theres no cab drivers on sight?:D
