if you put a poll up, manny will clearly win...but nobody will back up their reason on to how manny will beat chavez sr....

that might've even been a great trilogy....pisses me off that chavez never had a trilogy

many say sal sanchez would've been it

up until this day, manny has proved that he cannot fight going backwards....chavez was a master at making people back up...his pressure was real pressure, not that bull**** jab, hook and grab **** you see today....chavez would've threw every punch in the book, punished his body and take anything pacman would dish out with a smile on his face.....

the key would be pressure and body attack though....

Chavez would be too much for Pacquiao, the pressure would break the Pacman who as we know doesnt like to go backwards but he`d have 0 option here.

Chavez TKO 11 Pacquiao on a good day for Pacquiao.

Pressure, making Pac either fight going backwards or go toe to toe (both of which suit Chavez better), JCC will take anything Manny can throw & slowly break him down to the ribs & liver, he`ll mix in a few head shots in the late rds to put the icing on the cake before getting him outta there.

Pacquiao would not beat Chavez, believe that ****.

I grudgingly agree with this. A peak Chavez would break Pac down.

A slightly past-prime Chavez (the 90s version, 140 and over) would have severe trouble with Pac's lightning quick in-out attacks. Pac doesn't like to go backwards, but these days his footwork and movement is so good he wouldn't have to, he is so fleet of foot he could keep the fight in the middle of the ring for the most part, and JCC would have trouble with him there. However, late 80s Chavez would have got the job done.
