Who would you favor to be Hearns at 147-154 over the last 15 years?

Shane Mosley and Miguel Cotto no doubt and possibly oscar de la hoya.

 

Who knows. Unless they are in the ring and fight no one can know. I dislike fantasy match-ups. Hearns is one of my 3 favorite fighters so it's nothing against him.

 

Na, it'd probably be a replay of the Duran KO...There really ain't no one I could think of...I wouldn't even give Whitaker much of a chance, which says a lot about the boy Hearns...Maybe a few guys at 160 like Hopkins, but nobody at 147/154...

 

Shane does have a chance at 147. He can probably take Hearns' punches for some rounds and knock him out. Hearns likes to brawl, and Shane can brawl, has faster hands. I give him a good chance.

I can see the logic in the Mayorga pick, since he's unorthodox enough to possibly get to Hearns before Hearns KO's him. I'd probably give the best chances to Oscar and Tito, since both can pack a punch and have the chin to hang in there. The others either don't hit hard enough, aren't big enough, or aren't proven enough at those weights.

 

Cintron and the GTFO option are redundant.

 

This thread has got me thinking and Hearns is a nightmare H2H in any era, not just this last 10-15 years.
