Vitali will destroy him. What chance does Haye have? A quick KO ...... Vitali has the best chin in the business. Outbox him ...... Vitali is huge and has excellent stamina, Haye won't get near him. Haye has been down against Cruiserweights and a low tier heavyweight, whats the 90% KO clip Vitali going to do to him? I doubt he takes a strong jab let alone a big hook or uppercut. How many people have won rounds against Vitali? Do you think Vitali has anything to worry about after having faced Lewis and Sanders?
Thats a good point. Haye is really fast and Vitali may be surprised by his speed on fight night.....but Haye himself doesnt fight tall as he should and will be an easy target for Klitschko.....its an intriguing fight, and I would favor klitschko by a KO
Indeed, he is old now. But he ain't got any smaller and his chin and power should be the same. Ask yourself a question..... if you compare Haye and Khan... Do you think Haye's chin will last better against either Klitschko than Khan's will last against Kotelnik?
You don't wanna fight tall against Vitali. You wanna fight short and get underneath his jab, but keeping an eye out for uppercuts. Haye has the right style for Vitali......not saying that there is just one way to beat Vitali, but Haye is good for it. It's just that Vitali is tough, strong, skillful and resilient. I honestly think he has more skills than Wlad, just not as much athleticism, and the fact that he's willing to mix it up makes this an intriguing match up. BUT.... Haye's got speed and power of the likes that Vitali has never seen, and the fact that he's getting old and his last couple of opponents have been slow plodders, may get him a loss. Haye SHOULD be able to beat him being as he's in his prime and Vitali is probably a year or two away from calling it a career......DEPENDING of course on the opposition. Don't get me wrong, Vitali would probably still beat the **** outta Povetkin and Chambers, but those guys are not very good.
Vitali doesn't have the explosive power that Wladimir has because he lacks speed, but he does have very thudding, crushing punches, that hurt their opponents, but I don't see him knocking Haye clean out. It's really Haye's fight to lose because he does have the style to get underneath Vitali's punches, and the speed and power to win a boxing match, but he still has question marks about his stamina, and at times he's too wide open. He would have to fight a very smart fight against Vitali, and keep that gunslingin **** he pulled against Barret out of the equation. It should be a case of the younger skilled fighter catching the older skilled fighter out of his prime.
i thought haye had a very small puncher's chance against wlad, but i knew that if he got by wlad he would get utterly annihilated by vitali. if this fight does happen its gonna be a ****in brutal ass whooping.
If you watch the Herbie Hide fight versus Klitschko then you will notice that Hide did ok in the first round before folding. Hide is plenty quick and had wicked power. There is nothing to suggest that Haye punches any harder than Hide, and if you think he's quicker, then thats your opinion. I believe Hide has more chance of becoming a two weight title holder than Haye does.
If Haye is interested in having any longevity as a HW, he should take advantage of his "injury" and not even think about fighting anyone named Klitschko....at least for a while. He has a narrow chance of beating Wlad; he has NO chance of beating Vitali. Vitali has a mean streak that his brother doesn't seem to possess. Given all of the trash talk from Haye, I think Vitali would give him a relentless beating. It would be ugly.
