instead of wasting his time arguing about Maskaev, does anyone feel Vitali should just toss the WBC, let his brother unify all the titles, and meanwhile Vitali should go after the exciting fighters like Johnson, Arreola, Haye, etc. Even though those guys are not big challenges at least they are fun fights

    Why?

He should just fight Maskaev. I agree it's a **** mando given he got battered by Sam Peter, but it'll be over quickly anyway.

He's big money in Germany- the Kraut's would pack a stadium just to watch him sleep. So yes, I think he would still pull in the fights regardless of whether he had a belt or not. You don't need a belt to prove you are the best in the division anyway. The Klits love the belts and mandatories though so I see him fighting Maskaev. Get the fight out of the way, Vitali, and then go fight the contenders.

He should just fight Maskaev. I hate to say that since he already beat Peter for the title & he fought his mandatory right away in Gomez.

He's right, it's not fair & more of the same round robin bull**** like the WBA with their Chagaev, Valuev, Ruiz circle jerk. This is the **** that's killing the Heavyweights.....................

Viatli and Wlad don't care about unification. They care about "the Klitschko dream" both of them being on top together sharing all the belts. It sucks for us boxing fans that want a true heavyweight champ, but thems the breaks.

Vitali will probably be upon retirement and then Wlad has a chance to step up to the mantle of true champion.

You'd have to be a classless tool to do something like that.
It would also guarantee Vitali would never get a sniff of a title shot again either, as all the other orgs would be worried he'd do the same with their belts.

he doesn't have to fight to earn some bucks, Klitchkos have some businesses.

dump the belt - hell no. I'd like him to watch beating Valuev and Ruiz to clean the mess in WBC.

plus - if he'd fight without belts - everyone would say that he's doing a dirty work for his little bro.
