Do you think Margarito will someday be forgiven just as Mosley was?

People need to stop holding on to this fantasy that Mosley unknowingly took steroids. That's complete bull****. Forget the lie detector test. No one even knows who administered it or what questions were asked. Not only that, but those things aren't reliable enough. Shane admitted to a grand jury that he knowingly took PEDs. Shane was a State's witness in the perjury case against Bonds. Bonds was being charged with perjury after he told a grand jury that he unkowingly took steroids. So why would the state bring on a witness who supposedly also unkowingly got roids from BALCO? Wouldn't that just help Bonds? The fact of the matter is that Shane was brought in to tell how BALCO explained to the athletes that were taking PEDs, and how they instructed athletes to refer to the roids as flaxseed oil(Barry claimed he thought he was taking flaxseed oil). Shane knew what he was taking.

 

Again, we weren't talking about knucklepads at all. Dont know why you keep bringing this up.

 

This also has nothing to do with what Margarito tried to do with wraps/pads.


Margarito has a substance spread across the wraps. In the court documents they were stated as hard and stiff. Why would there be a substance spread across?

Reg, go look it up. Shane Mosely admitted in front of a federal grand jury that he UNKNOWINGLY took performance enhancing drugs given to him at Balco. Conte later said that Shane knew what he was taking the entire time...which led Mosely to take a FEDERALLY ADMINISTERED lie detector test on the subject of whether he was aware of not of what he was putting in his body. Passing this test, he immediately sued Victor Conte for defamation of character...to which a judge recently upheld when Conte tried to get not only the case thrown out, but to make the lie detector test un-admissable.

I have a question for you before I get more into the Bonds situation...and that is... How many athletes accused of use took a lie detector test to prove he was telling the truth??? ONE!!! SHANE MOSELY!!! That is the list...why do you think that is???

Bonds on the other hand said he didnt know what he was taking, yet there is concrete evidence that not only did he know, but he sought it out. He also got it from other sources outside of Balco. Another thing that there is evidence of (plus the fact that he failed a drug test on more than one occasion). That is why he is in faced with jail time and Shane and others are not. There is absolutely no paralell between Bonds and Shane. Not in any way.

If lie detector tests didnt prove ****...Maury Povich would be sitting on the couch every morning spending that Connie Chung money on Snuggies and The Perfect Pushup!!!

Margo on the other hand is a dirtbag and should never be able to set foot in the ring again.

about shane......great fighter great guy.....well if my dr friend gave me somthing and i was noticably stronger in the gym.....id be suspicous. come on, your telling me if you were in the gym and yu were faster n stronger you wouldnt notice?

and if i was in the gym and my wraps felt a bit rough id feel it.

The point is both to some degree cheated. Mosley saved his reputation by coming back post steroids and having a tremendous run against outstanding opposition and all that jazz. Mosley is also a generally nice guy which doesn't hurt his case any.

If Margarito does the same, of course it'll be welcomed back.

The quickest way for Margo to save his reputation would be to fight Paul Williams ASAP.

 

Don't forget about Roid Jones. Mosely and his roids, and Tito and his illegal wraps! Nobody says anything about that. I think Margarito has been unfairly treated, double standard. Let him have a rematch against Mosely and lets see what happens, and rematch Cotto also.

 

It is questionalbe if Floyd took them and how much and would they really help him big time. But we do know that plaster hardening in the glove is there to hurt another fighter physically.
