Don't hate on me for it. It's what happened. Not my fault.

Something funny though... I was trying to find the article I read about the beginning of their rivalry so I could cite it and I typed 'morales barrera rivalry beginning start' into google, and this thread has already been indexed lol... when I find the source I will present it, it's not like I save this **** on my HD like Bill Butcher ;)

You know what, both guys have said they still want to fight. How about for a farewell match, Barrera and Morales face off for one last time. I'd love to see that. Fitting end to both glorious careers.

Mannnn I would soo love to see this on the streets. I know I would jump in at some point and stomp on Barrera's head, leaving him bleeding on the floor. Then El Terrible and I would head towards the nearest bar in Tijuana and have a cold one with two heyenas in each arm, talking about how he smashed barrera and pacman.

    :huh

That link was mostly about mma, hardly mentioned a thing about EM or MAB.

Ps. for the record... I read something a couple of yrs back about the rivalry, it mentioned a football game were tensions were high when MAB was world champ & EM was up & coming, it never said a thing about anyone kicking anyone but it did mention that they sparred when EM was young & up & coming & as said above, Barrera was world champ, its rumoured that MAB tried to show off & test the young Morales, who promptly dropped the champ with a body shot, ever since then, Marco (being the guy he is) held a grudge.

Now, I dont care if you believe I read this & Im not even sure how authentic it is because you`d think it would have been mentioned in the build up to at least one of their fights (as would the`kick`by MAB) but there you go.

    Have a nice day :good

bottom line is morales has the better resume and is ranked higher than mab.

    overall: EM > MAB

    thats debatable.

head to head Barrera 2-1 Morales and nothing can change that.

marco clearly got KTFO by jones and stopped by pac. -ohh and lets not forget about the clear cut rematch decisions jones and pac had over mab as well. -erik beat both of those guys. CLEARLY.

is thats all there is in MAB record?

and i question if you even saw those fights the second MAB-Jones fight was very close also the Jones that Morales beat wasnt the same that fought MAB he was coming of a KO loss to Mckynney and was pretty much finished when Morales fought him.

and yes Morales beat Pac by two rounds but he was also koed twice by him and if you´re going to say that Morales was past his best then you should also say that MAB was also past it when he fought Pac.

so in 1 year jones went from super prime beating mab twice to shot to pieces? not to mention still fighting on another 4 years after..... :patsch

pac was a still a one dimentional fighter in his distruction over mab and loss to em. but **** all that & the 'past prime' bull**** excuses blade.

    its not debateable. AT ALL.

    EM > MAB

    deal with it.

I dont have to deal with anything .anyone who isnt biased knows this is close either way.

what its not debatable and it will be forever in the record book is Barrera winning the trillogy.

i agree with the trilogy. and i theres no doubt that marcos' a ATG.

but "close" doesnt cut it. there was nothing close to marco getting KTFO.
    -that really happened.

and on another note, morales is the type of guy to go out on his shield. you cant say the same for mab, can you? the only thing mab is better at is cheap shots & running.

    tijuana > mexico city

    have you been to tijuana?

that city is trash, I could take a **** on the streets there and property values would rise because of it.

If thats the case why did he won the trillogy?

and again its close either way,yet you keep mentioning Barreras losses as if its the only thing that he has in his record.
