Not exactly. He didn't see the punch coming and it was a big shot and put him down legitimately. But he was fine the instant his arse hit the canvas.

The Hopkins fight won't happen- B-Hop just likes to keep his name in the mix. If it were to happen then B-Hop wins via UD every time, IMO. The Bute fight has to happen- it's an exciting fight and, for me, Froch wins it by KO in the late rounds- Andrade was ripped off big time in his fight with Bute. I don't agree with people saying someone deserves the win because they were miles ahead on all the scorecards preceding a KO- boxing is the only sport out there where a guy who is outclassed for a whole fight can still win at the death against all odds. That's what makes this sport so God damn good!

Both fights would be great, fair play to Froch if one of them comes through

I'm kind of tired of this recycled news crap.

It's the same **** weeks after weeks.

"Froch will fight Bute or Hopkins."

Can't these people find something new to tell us.

*Sorry, I'm having a bad day. :tong

this whole hopkins thing makes me laugh..

now as most know im an ardent froch admirer but to say this fight reek's of hypocrisy on frochs part is an understatement, now of course the money and publicity would benefit carl no end but has he not spent the best part of a year denegrating calzaghe for fighting the very same guy??

hopkins on the other hand is rapidly approaching his best before date and im sorry to say it (as contoversial and hurtfull as it may sound) will age very quickly during this fight if it happens, most people put this guy on a pedestal right next to superman following his schooling of pavlik but mark my words he wont do that to froch,no doubt he will have his moments but froch will drag this one into the trenches,a messy fight overall and i wouldnt be suprised to see hopkins out on his feet..

    youth/stamina/power/chin/hunger all edge towards froch

    ring generalship/craftiness/experience/technique hopkins

    froch late tko.

There is no one who walks this Earth that can KO Hopkins.
    NO ONE.

When i think about it, I'm not delusional enough to think that what I say is important to life as we know it on this planet nor is it gospel . No. But neither is what you say.

it is boxing anything can happen, hopkins is a man approaching his mid 40's who just may fight that one fight too far.your statement is tantamount to delusional not to mention completely lacking all perspective and objectivity..

i am trying to be impartial and in no way counting out a hopkins win but i have a feeling with this one that hopkins has milked the gravy train one time to many.

Yeah, he deserves respect, whether you like him or not on a personal level or even stylistically. He's a brave man with ambition..... just like Haye, only Haye is more talented.

    Ok,I''ll say it this way.
There isno way a guy with horrible footwork, who is slow, telegraphs his punches, leaves his hands down, has a terrible defense and balance can knock Hopkins out.
