i think he is done as well.....the ONLY way he comes out is if froch does some serious damage....beating a hopkins or a Kessler....would maybe lure calzaghe out, but I dont see froch winning those.

He's done for good. I don't see why he would want to risk his perfect record at this stage anyways.

I see it the same way. Only Froch can lure Calzaghe out but he would have to go on an absolute tear which is highly unlikely.

Calzaghe certainly has no regrets about his career. His style depends so much on speed and that goes first with age. He never needed solid fundamentals because of his crazy speed, if that advantage goes, he would be very beatable. Also, he said himself once that he would not be like Holyfield getting his head punched in at age 40.

Yea i'd say so.. he always talked about wanting to be one of the few fighters that got out at the right time.. even after Hopkins he said he was only fighting once more..

    Hopefully.

Fighting an old, inactive, staminaless, gunshy, chinny Jones was disgraceful. Especially after what he said about Jones preveiously.

He's done in my opinion, don't think he will consider returning.

Wish him the best in his life, criticized him a lot when he was active and now admit I miss him. A true modern great despite all the negativity different arguments can bring.
