I'm talking about ****ing hardcore sparring, 15 ROUNDS a week is a lot to prepare for someone, I mean Tyson would have bloody noses in sparring secession with Rooney and other fighters. Rooney trained Tyson's ass, and had him disciplined, you don't think that makes a difference?

of course it does make a difference. but then again, lets be real, tyson is not really built for stamina.

he has explosive speed which he used to his advantage and i have seen a lot of his fights.

and again spinks is not a good gauged. he lasted 96 seconds in the ring. i am an athlete myself and i know a thing or two about training and actual competition.

training is good and prepares you for the real thing but there are things that cannot be taught my friend. like stamina.

if i am not mistaken, tyson won 3-4 fights which went the distance.

All of Tyson's loses came because he didn't prepare properly and the trainers he worked with didn't know how Tyson work. Kevin Rooney had Tyson sparring, practicing head movement, bobbing and weaving, etc. Kevin Rooney made sure Tyson can go 12 rounds because he had him in shape. Kevin Rooney said in an interview that he whoop Tyson's ass in training.

Also note that when Tyson didn't have Rooney in his corner against Frank Bruno, he looked like complete crap. Rooney said in an interview that if he was in Tyson's corner against Douglas, he would of told Tyson that he only had 4 rounds to knock him out because he was not in shape.

I agree. Both Klitschkos & Lewis beat Iron Mike-period. If Bonecrusher Smith can survive the distance with prime Mike then Wladimir would have little trouble. Neither Klitschko has been outboxed and they rarely lose a single round.

When he fought Bonecrusher it was at 1987 he was only at his 3rd year as a pro, he was still improving as a fighter. A peak Tyson was at 1988 when he beat Spinks, and that was the last fight he had Kevin Rooney as a trainer. When Tyson left Rooney and Bill Cayton to sign with Don King, he basically kissed his winning fortunes goodbye.

Yes, Tyson would clean out many historical division without problems. What would trouble the naysayers is that Vitali Klitschko in a prime, healthy state without 4 major body parts being held together from surgery would clean out most eras divisions also without any problem, from 1899 to 2010. Save a mere two or three over the time. And no, I don't mean Jack Johnson or Joe Louis.

Wlad doesn't have the killer instinct for that.

I think the Klitskos have a good chance at winning but Sanders and Brewster who were not near as good as Tyson beat Wlad. Of course the Wlad that defeated Brewster would have a great chance at beating Tyson. The Wlad that lost to Sanders and Brewster most likely would've been taken out by Tyson.

And Wlad has problems with aggressive, powerful, good chinned fighters in the past, Tyson is all that and more. I mean look at all the trouble he had beating Sam Peter a few years back, he was in a constant panic for half the fight. I mean if Samuel can have him falling all over the place, what do you think a superior fighter in Tyson would do to him?
