Froch hasn't badmouthed anyone??, Jesus Christ...its like saying that Witter has never mentioned Hatton!!

As for crashes with pedestrians...what the **** has that got to do with boxing, or how the kid is as a person. To have a direct correlation between driving ability and your willingness to support someone in the ring does seem a little strange, everyone to their own I suppose.

If this guy pushed Junior Witter to the wire

Then I think he will have too much for Khan

    Lets make this very clear

A prime Junior Witter was clearly more impressive than Ricky Hatton

he blew the Zab Judah fight

But after that Witter looked very impressive

And if this guy gave him one of the hardest fights on his career

Then I think he will stop Khan

I now see the reason why kotelnik was chosen as an opponent for khan. Aside from low ko percentage (although he can clearly hit well enough to deck khan), he is slow and has a low workrate. He is average in all areas, with no weakness but is not special in any one area. Plus kotelnik is not an aggresive fighter, which is think accounts for his low ko percentage. The fight will be a very good test for khan, making him think in the ring without being in massive danger if he makes one or two mistakes.

Overall good matchmaking from warren and a genuine test for the 'new improved' khan. Defensively khan will have to move his feet use, slip shots and block intelligently to shut kotelnik out. I want to see a defensive display by khan ending in wide UD or late tko.

i think roach and warren are banking on amir being quicker and beating kotelnik to the punch, i see kotelnik putting pressure on kahn much the way he did witter, and kahn wont be able to get off as much, but that is kotelnik's only chance imo

Dr.Roach is turning Khan into a machine, Khan's fittness and workrate will prove too much for Kotelnik who will be on the back foot for most of the fight.

No chance, Witters style might have been more pleasing on the eye to the boxing puritsts but the weigh Hatton was demolishing his opponents in his prime wbu days was far more impressive than the witter borefests

Kotelnik has lost two fights only, both very close.
He usually does the full distance and has good stamina.
He's a very decent fighter, who has a good skill set.
He must have a decent chin and durability.
He's not a huge puncher, but I'm certain he has enough pop to get Khan to do a funny dance. My pick in this fight would be for Kotelnik to stop Khan later on, or a premature stoppage win for Khan.

I may be wrong but I think that comment was just Flints rather hamfisted way of trying to spice up the thread a little....;)
