I sure hope most of you are right about Cotto winning. I'm not as confident. I think Josh has the style and size to cause Cotto a lot of problems.....moreso I think Cotto will begin to break down mentally after having very limited sucess in landing anything that is meaningful while eating some stiff jabs and counter rights at the hands of Josh. I'll go with a UD for Josh.

this is all well and good except for the fact that cotto doesn't break down mentally and clottey ain't gonna be able to do what margo did.

you forgot something... clottey doesn't have a quarter of the workrate margo has and he doesn't pressure half as much. he definitely does not have the chin margo has/had. without those attributes he will not wear/break down cotto.

I told you that that was the only reason that would not make Cotto go full steam on this fella, the recent memory of this Margarito fight. But Cotto may feel at ease to press forward and step up the pace, nothing out of the range of possibilities. What is surely out of the range of probabilities is Cotto making the same mistakes again which are stepping back str8 up to the ropes and losing it by TKO in 11 or in 12. I have every right to back track to the Judah fight cause there was a lot of pressure on Cotto and he was able to overcome anything to win it. Clottey's success depends on Cotto's mistake and I surely don't bank on his counter-punching ability to make Cotto fold.
