:patsch Vitali is way more overrated than Tyson, he was in the same position Tyson was against Holmes, He had an old, inactive past prime out of shape guy in front of him and he still couldn't win yet he gets credit for the way he got his ass kicked by a shot fighter...:rofl I wonder what people would of said if Marciano lost a tough fight to Louis or if Tyson lost a tough 1 to Holmes. Thats basicly what vitali did, yet he gets credit for it:-(

Forget the hideous cut, you're forgetting the important thing. He was ahead on the cards!

Wlad while mentally weak is much more talented, skilled and has a much better resume than Vitali.

He would surprise alot of the 70's fighters-namely George Foreman. He would tire George out and go for the TKO in Rd. 10!
Foreman was KO'd by light hitting Ali!
He causes problems for 80's Tyson, too. Mike would find his mark, but would have to hang on in the end, and may even have some circa Buster Douglas moments.
At a peak 25 years old, who was bigger, was a better boxer, had better chin than Vitali?
No one. He's right up there folks-- top 5 all time.

OOHH! I see Frazier eating lotsa' Vitali Klitschko leather while applying the heat...... Klit prolly lands a thudding uppercut or two and gets Frazier outta there by late rd. TKO....

From 1887 to 1960, I see V.K. hammering everyone who ever ruled the division..... BUT!! I do believe that "Johnson, Baer & Louis" would be the sternest of tests / challenges for Klit.......

Post 1960, well, it gets rather complicated and tough to call..... STILL!! I see V.K. doing well in any era of heavyweight boxing......... I repeat: "Do Well."

I doubt that he beats Marciano, honestly he just isn't that good, Wlad while not as tough is clearly the better, more skilled fighter of the two.
