Are there some people who don't like him because he's Paki, or Asian? Yeah, I'm sure there are. Same as some don't like the Klitschkos because they're white, or Pac because he's Filipino.

I love Pac, was a huge fan of Kostya Tszyu (who had Korean and Mongol descent, as well as Russian) and am more than willing to embrace Asian fighters, including Pakistan-decended ones.

The reason many dislike Khan is because he was super-hyped by the British press, kind of a would-be British version of ODLH, if you will. And though he has skills, he hadn't really 'done anything' yet as a pro. And then the Prescott fight.

Guys will always put down someone they think is a fraud, particularly one that is as hyped as Khan has been. It doesn't have to be racial or ethnic.

Here's a good MMA example: Rashad Evans vs Rampage Jackson. I know tons of people that can't stand Evans but love Jackson. Both fighters are African-American.

Sounds to me like you're a hater intent on putting the kid down. The guy won a silver @ the olympics- big deal in professional boxing I know, but still a great achievement for a 17 year old. I won't hype him up to be anything more than he is- which, at present, is a prospect with great handspeed and decent skills to go with it. That said, give him credit when he deserves it; he has grown up a hell of a lot since the loss to Prescott and has also improved immensely in the ring. Also he didn't butt Barrera on purpose, mate- it was a clash of heads. If he beats Kotelnik, which in my opinion is no easy fight, then I'll consider calling him more than a prospect. I will not, however, put the guy down for the sake of it- he has always got up when hurt and can only take the fights that Warren gives him.
