I think that's the big unknown question: Does Ruslan have Peter's chin; if so, Wlad will have some difficulty. I question his chin- he's never been tagged by a powerful heavyweight before.
I think Wlad will TKO him in 9.
We know so little of these Euro guys-he may surprise all of us.

You have to give it to Chagaev until proven otherwise, a ko over Barrett doesn't make you the #1 HW in the world. I would like to see Haye beat somebody of note before he claims he's the best.

Ruslin was a full blown heavy as an amateur and never graduated by adding weight as he became pro and wished to chase money in higher divisions. Haye was a light heavy amateur , cruiserweight pro and elevated to heavy where as it stands he has only ever laced on gloves twice at heavyweight.. Ruslin beat a very accomplished heavyweight legend at amateur in Felix Savon Fabre, who was a superstar, and even though it is clouded in controversy , he did win inside the ring regardless.. Haye has only beaten a sketchy pole Bonin..... and a win some lose some Barrett.. Where Ruslin has come up beating world class fighters to get to where he is today and still improving.. Haye v Chagaev is far a more accomplished world class heavyweight and more equipped for any championship fight.. Haye brings unpredictability and some great explosive power .. But Ruslin brings consistancy that would prove Hayes undoing if the two ever met... Haye has proven flaws, where Chagaev doesn't yet.. I go with proven facts in this argument.

Haye is waaay more of a treat to wlads weak ass chin. Chagaev has proved nothing. He has not fought anyone above a b rating. Barrett is better than anyone Chagaev has fought. I had Valuev beating chagaev on my scorecard by the way.

Wlad is not going to risk getting hit on his eggshell chin. Chagaev has a major problem with getting cut. I say wlad stops him on cuts in round 2. Chagaev's skin is a weak as sliced lunch meat.

    Chag easily.

anyone who looks at an undefeated heavyeight with important wins and a title and picks a crusierweight who has been stopped over him is simply wrong.

I think Chagaev probably has the better chance of beating Wlad. He is a southpaw, and a very tricky one at that. One of the only fighters right now with actual head movement. A great left hand and he uses the ring like very few do.

That being said, Haye is the more exciting fight for Wlad, and he stands a good chance himself.

I am totally satisfied with either fight. It'll be the best opponent for Wlad in awhile.

Are you stupid or just ignorant? Barrett was faded and has already lost to Valuev by KO? you know that guy who Chagaev already beat.. Haye is a hype job and is very unproven.. Hasnt even fought anyone really good at cruiser or heavyweight... If you were to grade ther comp where would hayes best win be? Mckormec the same one starched by bell and ancient? or Barrett the same one stopped in two rounds by Couser? Oh wait thompson.. lol Nevermind he lost to that lightheavy... :deal

Chagaev would knock Haye out, I am sure of it. Haye could not hurt Chagaev, but Chagaev would hurt Haye. Mismatch.
