I have no interst in this guy winning decisions because he is so much taller and longer than opponents it would bore the **** out of me. The trick to beating Williams ass is to take it to him and crowd his ass not letting him breath. Kirkland would be a good opponent but alas his ass may never get out of jail.
It sounds like Cotto is focused about this fight and is ready to carry on the rest of his career, maybe even eclipsing the first part of his career this time around.
I think Cotto is going to beat Clottey over 12. Cotto is being underrated, IMO on this forum. He's still IMO one of the ten best fighters on the planet...can probably beat anyone 154 and down...
You are suggesting that you can predict the style that Cotto will fight based on the size and shape of his legs? God, some of you guys say some strange stuff. Why would he want larger legs if he is planning on moving anyway? I've personally never heard of fighters redefining their body for each fight based on a premeditated assessment of what style they will employ in each particular fight. What if your plan A isn't working? That aside, I too think Cotto will box and move. The guy has boxed and moved a lot in his last few fights and Clottey could be a difficult nut to crack if he wants to stand there and trade with him. His advatages are his boxing and moving ability.
I do expect Cotto to win. I have been doubtful to all the problems going on around him. I think his camp was a little short but looks like they didn't lose any time. I am crossing my fingers. One thing is 100% sure: You never go into the ring looking to KO an African fighter. Most of them have great stamina and can take lots of punches. The KO might come, but Cotto has to prepare for a long night.
This is why he gets so much hate sometimes.... Ridiculous **** like this. If he's so good, tell his Daddy Bob Arum to stop ducking PW. That simple.
