Exactly. In a way, I'm disappointed that Haye's china chin isn't gonna get exposed June 20th, but Chagaev is by far a better opponent. Haye is just a punk shittalker who didn't deserve the fight anyway.

i think people were so caught up in the WWE type theatre of haye and the hyping that its like a drug that makes them see no sense whatsoever. The spell can only be broken when he actually steps into the ring and loses.

dont get me wrong id like to see him fight but reserve adoration till hes a bit more proven.

 

Whatever the reasoning was, Haye wasn't going to fight on July 11th... end of story. So, all this BS about "shoulda waited 3 more weeks" should really stop.

As to your original question :think just dig a bit deeper and you'll get the real answer. But you're not like many of the Haye fans who post asinine views... you're trying to be logical and unbiased, so you may not understand some posters real reasons for the hate.

 

I for one am not that sure that Haye's talk sold 60.000 tickets in a few days.Haye isnt a big name outside the UK.
Wlad could have announced that he planed to fought Micky Mouse and the arena would have been sold out anyway.
Wlad is the big draw in Germany,not Haye.
I remember that Wlad vs Nicholson was sold out within an hour in Germany.Very difficult to get hold of a ticket for that fight then.

 

Chagaev-Wladimir is a better fight overall than the Haye fight was. It'll be for the Ring Magazine title and it's more unification against an established HW name.

 

i understand why this fight is happening, but it will be a borefest and let down for fans.

Just blind hate, I don't see ANY reason to hate on what's happening here, at least it's a unification match. It's not Wladimir's fault Haye got injured.

 

Vlad wanted to fight Haye, it was his decision to fight Haye, Haye was not mandatory fight. Chagaev is a much better fight than Haye and he is a legit heavyweight. Haye did not deserve the fight at all. I hope the WBC will allow Vitali to fight Haye this time around, almost happened before, but WBC forced Vitali to fight Gomez who was WBC mandatory.

 

People are pissed off because they Haye fight would have been a dramatic one,and the Chageav fight is likley to be a 12 round affair.I think Chageav is a harder fight for Wlad and think he has done a good thing for the fans by taking it instead of letting the 20th date pass with no fight.I think Haye would have been stopped early,but this guy wont be he is a proven world class heavy and i think he will beat Wlad on points.I will certainly be watching it.
