More and more people visiting the Brit forum

when i came it was just the regulars the guys who are the backbone of the forum

i came on here after i heard Bunce mention it and posted alot in the classic never the general then i found the British forum

but this is the best British boxing forum around all the rest the guys know there stuff but have no banter or personality.

also alot of the new guys are great posters the type we want on here, your very knowledgeable and up for abit of banter

This forum is the best, thats why despite telling people Im gonna leave, I always come back for more This place is like a drug, I have been an ESB brit forum junkie from day one, & when it was quiet when I first arrived, a select few of us hung around, instigting debate & helped turn this forum into the monster it is today.
Im always quite proud of that, that a few of us stayed loyal to this forum to make it a success, & now look at it, its became bigger than anyone could have imagined.
Now Im just a bit part in here cos its grown so much, but thats what I always wanted. I remember saying when I first arrived here that my motivation was to hammer boxrecs brit forum, & its a job well done now IMO!
This place is the life & soul of british boxing now, & its only going to keep getting more popular as long as the place never forgets its sense of humour... Cos thats what made it in the first place, & seperates this forum from the rest.
Only in here can you have a serious debate, a personal vendetta & some banter all in one thread! THATS why this forum is the place to be, & THATS why boxing fans swarm here in their eh... swarms!

 

I visit here a few times hear and there, been doing such for many years now. I have noticed more posters on the British forum lately also.

 

i personally think british boxing is get more exposure world wide which is good for the UK and boxing as awhole.:happy

 

Very true,the General is full of clowns.I am guilty of clowning around in the Klitschko threads a little,but you cannot have a serious discussion with people who think that Wladimir Klitschko has a better chin than Evander Holyfield.Thats just one example of many.Threads on JMM,Pac,Floyd and all welters are filled with **** aswell

 

What is Boxrec forum like....

I am actually a member but have amassed like 12 posts in about 6 months

I like it. I use both forums (and no others on any subject). Boxrec is more serious and has less banter than here but there are some excellent posters. This one is generally much busier for RBR's, especially ones not shown on UK tv.

 

I have been here a while and apart from the racists, and homophobes its pretty good. I'm just a bit disappointed about the Khan hate. just because he isn't white doesn't mean he can't fight. Other then that- Praise be upon all of you.

 

Who in your opinion is racist or homophobic(in the Brit forum)?
I don't think the hate for Khan is a racial issue,more because of the fact that he is slightly deluded.However there might be racial tension where his fans are concerned-I've heard stories of crowd trouble at his fights.I don't know who causes it mind
