If he has only a fraction of Kostya's talent, he will become a world champion, both Pro and amateur.

I reckon Kostya would be a skilled trainer.

Another former Australian world title holder (IBF superfeather 1985), LESTER ELLIS, also has teenage sons fighting in the amateur ranks.

Lester Jnr (18) and Jake (17) are already competing and there's a third son Darcy, who's a bit younger, and still to come.

Yeah, just a super talent, and as someone stated above, would probably make a brilliant trainer. Look out for his son in years to come!!

Kostya is a very knowledgeable trainer. I have trained with him many times and have even sparred with him on a few occassions at his Rockdale PCYC gym. He knows his **** and his son has a solid punch. When he was about 4 or 5 years old, he broke his granfathers (Kostya's dad) jaw. And Grandpa tszyu is no old man. He was virile and fit at the time.

Kostya will certainly pass on all the knowledge that he learned from the best Australian trainer ever in my books Johnie Lewis.

Awesome. I'll never get tired of the schooling he gave to Forrest in the amateurs. Boxing at its finest.

To quote Kostya's Russian trainer, "Kostya's talent is a gift from God".

However, I think its reasonable to say that Kostya's talent was developed from the furnace of the Soviet boxing machine. Tim will have to move to the USA to match anything like that machine, plus have his dad's awesome will, discipline and work ethic. He does have the genetics however, it seems.
