He might not. With all his friends fighting he might feel a little left out. Happens with fighters. In someway when Hearns seemed to lose motivation was when Leonard and Duran and Hagler were not fighting anymore in the limelight. They seem to need their buddies there to compete against. Their contemporaries. I think Morales will comeback but he put so much into the ring I am not sure he has anything left to win another belt at a high level.

OK... you can't have it both ways...

If you're talking about boxing accomplishments in the ring... You're right.
But if you're talking about world-wide notoriety and legend... Tyson is the king. No one since Ali is more synonymous with boxing than Mike Tyson.

Same thing with Hearns and JCC.

If you're talking in the ring. Hearns was the better fighter, who had a better record aginst champions and other ATG's. But if you're talking legend and notoriety, then JCC trumps Hearns.

I agree about Tyson being more famous. But you're forgetting a JCC fight in Vegas was a big deal. White people would wear sombreros to go see him fight. When he was 6754675 and 0, JCC was a ****ing superstar. I'd say Oscar is the only fighter more famous than Tyson.
As for Hearns being a better fighter, I can't agree.
