And you think you understand boxing?

What were the total punches landed? You can't go completely off %. A guy can throw 50 punches landing 10 per round, which is 20%. His opponent can throw and land 5 per round and have 100% percent connect. The guy landing 20% obviously landed more punches, so should the other with 100% connect win?

    Get the **** outa here.

I see Oscar hurting Floyd badly with a left hook in the middle rounds. After Floyd run for his life for a coupe of rounds. In the eleven round it's obvious that he needs a K.O he makes an effort get hurt again and keep running till the end of the fight like in the first Castillio fight. It's not that Floyd is a bad fighter he is obviously very good. But at his prime Oscar was just better and bigger.

settle down champ:lol: the argument isn't who won the 154 pound fight but who WOULD win a 147 fight. based on what we've seen of both, oscar was far better at that weight. end of story

compubox was an example of what i was saying... delahoya threw way more punches then pbf... but he was swinging at air most of the time... plain and simple... to basic azz idiots it looked like he was putting up a hella fight... to boxing enthusiasts we know the difference between flurries and effective punches

Close fight, the size might edge it for DLH but Im not sure because Mayweather`s skill > DLHs skill.

    Wouldnt bet big either way.

Agree with the poster who said we've never seen FMJ pushed in any fights at 147 so it's difficult to predict how he'd do against a prime DLH. I don't think the fact that the fight at 154 was close is a great indicator of how a fight at 147 would go. It could really go either way on the night.

On a slightly seperate note I think the PBF win has been underrated by a lot of people. DLH had every advantage and PBF was at a weight that he had no businessa at and he managed to pull off a very good win.

yes floyd is undefeated but is he undefeated against: whitaker, quartey, mosley, chavez, carr and trinidad?

No he's undefeated against baldomir, judah and hatton. SLIGHTLY different resumes.
